"And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."      e    Ez Ezekiel 36:26

  • With launch looming a mere nine days away I find myself constantly distracted by preparations for the year to come…if you can actually prepare for an adventure such as this haha. In honor of this adventure I wanted to start a list of "first's" that I will experience.

  •  The first time I will leave the USA

The first time that I will be on a plane more than two hours

The first time I will be away from my family for an extended amount of time

The first time I will be in 11 different countries, 11 different cultures, and 11 different styles of worship

The first time that I will truely be living my life completely dependant on God

The first time that I will get my passport book stamped

The first time that I will gain 40 some members to my family instantly

The first time that I will live in a community setting based on the foundations of trust, honor, and love.

The first time that I will be surrounded by so many people who are crazy in love with our Abba and stoked to share His love to those who need it most

And many many more are to be added to this list. Very exciting stuff 🙂

Of course with this list of "first's" comes a list of "last's" as well. This list is not quite as exciting as the other. I'm sure my squadmates can relate to these things as well. the great part about this is that this list is not absolute, only temporary.

The last time that I will get to hug my family

The last time that I will get to hug my dear friends

The last time I will get to eat my mamaw's delicious cooking

The last time that I will be able to sit in my parents basement with my brother and watch "Bones"

The last time that I get to spend some time with my awesome *only* girl cousin, Lauren

The last time I'll get to play ball with my dog Sky

The last time I will get to worship with my church family at Oakwood Baptist of Chattanooga

The last time that I will drive my own car

    and so on…

All of these changes are scary yet exciting at the same time. I'm praying that God wouldradically change my heart for His, and show me a world through His eyes.

Please pray for E squad as we prepare as much as we can for the unknown, and please pray that El Salvador will never be the same once they are shown the heart and love of Christ!
