I leave town in 5 days and I leave the country in 21!
As you know, I have committed to squad leading a World Race squad. If you don’t know what this is, it means that I will walk with them on the field for their first 5 months. I’ll travel and spend time with teams and just get to do life with them. My job will be to help them with team dynamics, adjust to life on the field, be there to process things, disciple them, serve them, and just love them. It’s a role that played an instrumental part in my race through my incredible leaders and I am so looking forward to journeying with F Squad in the same way.
As you’ve probably already seen, this also means that I am raising support again. This role requires me to raise $6500- $3500 of which pays for my 5 months on the field, and then $3000 goes to funding me so that I can fly out and visit, celebrate with, and pour into the squad at the end of their month 8 and month 11. Support raising is not my favorite part of what I’ve been called to do, but it has been an INCREDIBLE way to see the Lord move and to grow in trusting Him. Having people partner with me in this calling and in furthering the Kingdom has been such an eye-opening and beautiful thing, because I CANNOT, nor am I meant to, do it alone.
So far, you all have helped me raise $2800, which is 43% of what I need to be fully funded. That means I only need $3700 more! In order to raise the rest, I’ve broken down what I need into smaller chunks. As of now, in order to be fully funded in the next 5 months, this is what I need:
10 7 people to commit to $25 a month for the next 5 months (or a one-time gift of $125)
10 7 people to commit to $50 a month for the next 5 months (or a one-time gift of $250)
7 people to give a one-time gift of $25
10 8 people to give a one-time gift of $50
10 5 people to give a one-time gift of $100
ANY amount that you can give is appreciated and helps!
There is just about a week left in 2017, and I would LOVE to be at the 50% mark before the ball drops and sends us into 2018. In order for that to happen, I need to raise $450 more this week.
