Dear Zambia,
My appreciation for you in unreal. My life with you was so simple, but it was filled with so much genuineness. There was nothing lacking in the life you gave me. In fact, I think I found more purpose and fullness with you. In no means did I see my life as purposeless before, but I will now forever carry with me the weight of true purpose. You had a beautiful way of pushing the small and insignificant things of this life aside, focusing my heart on what was real and necessary.
If I were to write down on paper the things I did everyday, the list would hardly fill half the page. If I were to write down on paper the things I learned and the values I embraced, I would fill a book. You were the drink at the well, the water that revived my soul. You refreshed my heart and reset my focus. You restored my weary body and surrounded me with peace. Like a plunge in the river on a hot day, you relieved me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed.
