In a few short days, our time here in Zambia is going to come to an end. Sadly, next month we are going to be having a team change and I will no longer be with the A Team. I have done life with these people for the past month, they have become my people and my family. I love each of my teammates so much and I can’t imagine not spending my world race with them. (I’m still in denial)

Taylor, you have such a gentle heart and you live to make people feel loved, known and seen. You read me your poetry and also went to the unsavoury Indian bathrooms with me which I can’t thank you enough for. (what a time!)
Victoria, I don’t know many people who know the ins and outs of the bible as well as you do. You are very real and I love how comfortable you are being you.
Sydney, two Sydney’s on one team, now that’s special. The Lord knew we were too good to seperate. I love that we are so similar in almost every way other than the fact that you are an introvert and you like black nail polish. You are so giving in all you do and you have a nurturing heart.
Carly, you have such a servants heart and seek the wellbeing of others without needing to be seen through it. You love avacados with more passion than anyone.
Elisabeth, you seek after the Lord in all you do and have lead me, maybe without knowing it through your example. You have shown me what it looks like to be strong in the Lord even through our human brokeness. You also play Dutch Blitz with an intensity like no other.

Together, the A Team is a random quirky bunch that at first you would never put together but once you do it just makes sense, we laugh together, we cry together, we worship together and eat popcorn together. We also completed the training camp hike on the first time together and stopped washing our hair together. As stated by our team name (if you dig a little deeper into the name) , we are an elite group of daughters of the king set out to complete a mission. These past four months have been so sweet and I can’t wait to see where the Lord takes the next five.
