I am yet again entering a season of lasts. It seems like just yesterday I was graduating highschool and leaving everything familiar for an adventure of a lifetime but, here I am experiencing my last:
– 25 minute walk to ministry
– Walk in the park
– Dance with Jefferson
– Lunch with my team
– Hug from Gloria
– Laugh with Carolina
– Conversations with the incredible camp hope staff
– OUR LAST DAY OF MINISTRY ON THE WORLD RACE
This goodbye has been one of the hardest, not only did I have to say goodbye to all my precious children and fellow volounteers but, I know that in a few very short days I'll also be saying goodbye to my community and the world race as a whole. That's hard. Hugging each of my children goodbye broke my heart. I want to say what a privilege it was to be able to love them the best I know how. For now I'm focusing on remembering and resting with the sweet memories, I'm thankful for the next few days I have to rest and debrief it all.
Tia Martha, Jefferson, Amalia, Karina, Carlos, Gloria, Dylan, Carolina, Camp hope you will not be forgotten.
Love,
Sydney
