Hey friends. I’ve had a hard time feeling motivated to write blogs lately. Not because I don’t want to share with you all what the Lord is doing over here in Guatemala, but because I feel the need to make it seem like you all are here with me, seeing what I’m seeing and processing things the way I do. If I don’t recount the events/thoughts exactly right, nobody will receive what I’m trying to say. A fear of being misunderstood is really what it comes down to. BUT. God is able to speak through me way more than I think He is. With that being said, I’m going to try and get back into it by doing a fun little list blog today! This is a list of amazing things that have happened during our time in Guate, either personal growth or just events. I may write blogs in the future diving deeper into some of these things.

  • 2 police officers who are our neighbors accepted Christ!

  • One of our fav kids in our village, Josue, accepted Christ!

  • The boys on our squad threw all of the girls a Valentine’s Day dinner! They were so kind & thoughtful. Dressed up in blazers that didn’t fit them. Acted as our waiters, cooks, and entertainment. All the girls felt so appreciated!

  • My team hosted a Beauty for Ashes event. We were able to show the women from our town that they are loved and that they are beautiful daughters of the King. The memories from this event will last a looong time. Thanks God for that opportunity.

  • My relationship with the Lord has grown so much stronger. I have become more confident in my ability to hear His voice & also in my authority I walk in as His child.

  • I have seen God heal people since being here! He is so good and so loving!

There are so many more things that God has done since we’ve been here. My squad has been the hands&feet of Christ, and it’s been amazing to see.
