We sang a song here at training camp talking about just looking up and seeing the father face to face.
My heart was heavy and I didn’t know why…and then I realized all the people that haven’t done that and don’t think they are able.
Well I’m here to tell you. You can look up. Stop hiding your face. Stop hiding from the best thing that will happen to you. God sent his son to earth so he could literally BE with US! He didn’t have to do that. In the Old Testament God had his people build a tabernacle that they carried around with them so he could just be with his people. That blows my mind that a perfect God would even want to be with sinful humans. But he does! He really wants to be in our presence and to hear our words and see our face, to hold us and tell us it’s okay.
So that’s what was put on my heart and I thought I’d share(:
He just wants you to look up. Don’t be ashamed of anything because there is to much grace and love in his eyes to see your dirtiness.
I just felt like someone needed to hear that and if it’s you stop being afraid of Him. He is a powerful God but he is also a loving father who just wants to give you a hug.
Thank you for reading! I have a team of 7girls I got to meet and be with this past 11 days and I am so excited to lead them in Costa Rica! There are 24 total men and women on our squad though and they are all outstanding!
