We have officially been in Thailand for a week. When we got here we had the weekend free and then started ministry on monday. The first couple days here were honestly kind of difficult with the 13 hour time difference and being a day ahead of everyone at home. Being tired and just having a new culture in front of us made me feel all sorts of ways for a couple days but I am finally feeling like myself again.(:
Since we have been here we have ventured around town and went exploring. They have a night market that has so much cool stuff and knock off stuff that makes it hard to not spend money… oops. The food however is super good and super cheap. Here we have a coffee shop downstairs that feeds us breakfast and then we go out for lunch and dinner so we eat noodles and/or rice basically for every meal but we love it. We live here in Chiang Mai with two other teams and do ministry with them. Our ministry is hard but rewarding. I am not aloud to say what we are doing though so just trust that we are doing good.(: Last Night my whole team went to a tattoo place and everyone but me got a tattoo in a little over an hour I am getting one Friday!! YAY(: so in my blogs it will probably be here of what I am learning and the adventures we go on because that is what I am aloud to post about.
Anyways that has been our life the past week but it has been good and we really do love it here a lot. The people here are super sweet and most of them know enough english to get by. The culture is super different but super fun to be in and we are learning new things everyday(:
