Okay so yesterday I took a few hour, hour and 1/2 naps and left my house, headed for Dallas Fort Worth Airport at 1:00AM central time to catch a flight to Charlotte, North Carolina at 5:00AM to meet up and stay with a fellow racer and ride together to Training Camp in Georgia in a few days.
While on the plane, the song ‘100 Billion Times’ by Hillsong came on and the part in the song where they sing “and if the wind goes where you send it, so will I” really touched my heart.
Think about this: so, God has a special calling and intended plan for everyone. We are to go where God says to go, to do what God says to do, to say what God says to say, and I thought about all of us World Racers.

Dear fellow racers,
We are doing as the wind does, being sent to where God sends it. How cool is that?! I am so excited for this journey and the stories and the adventure we are about to take on. And it’s all for the glory of God!
Dear parents,
You may be saying “see ya later” to your beloved children, and we know you’re excited and sad all at once, but know this: God’s got us. God used you to raise us up into the “wind” that we are now. From your influence and prayer and support, we are going to further the Kingdom Of Our Heavenly Father and you will see us again. We love you and thank you for all that you have done for us. God sure blessed me, us, with great parents. Thank you for being the role models that we needed through life.

As we set off and begin new journeys in life and begin to follow the path God has in place for us, know that we love you. God has used you in so many ways. Through love, support (emotionally, physically, all of the above), motivation, shoulders to cry on, hands to hold. Thank you for being the partners in crime through life. We love you and will miss you like crazy.
This journey is long. It’s not easy, but God is SO in control and I know we can do this. We are like the wind, going where God sends it. Let’s go be His hands and feet!!!!
