All right friends, get ready to meet one incredible group of people. These are the amazing folks I will be doing life with over the next 11 months, my newest brothers and sisters! (P.S. I'm super excited about finally having not one, but two brothers!!)
This is Team ZOI

Why are we called Team ZOI, you ask? Well, we were asked to pick a team name, and very quickly we agreed upon the Greek word that simply means "Life." Here is a more in depth definition of this word:
"Life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, devoted to God, blessed, in the portion even in this world of those who put their trust in Christ, but after the resurrection to be consummated by new accessions (among them a more perfect body), and to last forever."

We felt this was the perfect name for our group, because our team vision for this year is the following:
"To bring life by loving people and sharing with them The Life and the love of the Holy Spirit"
So that's it–I'm beyond excited to give voice to the fire and dream thats been growing and gaining momentum in my heart over the past days, months, even years.
Now, I want to introduce you to my new family (Don't worry Mom & Dad, no one could ever replace y'all)…
Our fearless team leader, Danae Cosgrove!

Danae will be our guide during the ins and outs, ups and downs of these 11 months. Danae hails from Flagstaff, Arizona, and she attended Northern Arizona University. Her love language is Touch, so you should give her a big hug. I am so excited to have a leader who is so full of life, who cares so much about each one of us on Team ZOI, who leads humbly and gently and lovingly.
Our logistics mastermind, Andrew Ingrassia

Andrew is from Las Vegas, Nevada, and he helps our whole squad in navigating the details of our Race. (In short, he gets to know all the info about our destinations before anyone else!) Andrew studied at the College of Southern Nevada. He enjoys Starbursts, C.S. Lewis, and bonfires. Andrew is our musically gifted, guitar-playing teammate, and I can't wait to get to know my new brother better.
Our stinkin' awesome married couple, Jeremy & Kat Cearbaugh (pronounced SEER-bah, in case you were curious)

Jeremy and Kat are awesome. Want to know why? Because they've been together since they were 13! Aw… sweet love story. They are from Mechanisburg, Pennsylvania. I am so excited they're on my team, because they're such an incredible example of what a Christ-centered marriage looks like. I bonded with Kat & Jeremy over the game of four-square (Watch out, Jeremy gets feisty when he plays). I like these two because they make me laugh, but they're also very intentional in how they love others.
Channele Givargis, our beautiful, energetic team member

Channele is fearless. She is from Turlock, California and she loves Celine Dion, What Not to Wear, and the Brazil National Football (soccer) team. She studied at California State University Stanislaus. She has such a big heart and I am so excited to see it displayed as she serves the needy and broken-hearted with me this year.
That's my fam, guys. Please pray for team unity, a Christ-centered team, a team that will truly bring the life of Christ to every heart we meet. Get ready to hear stories about all these awesome folks, I have a feeling they're going to be some good ones…
