We made it to Nicaragua! I love it here. From day one me and Jamie were out there playing with the kids. The young ones will just come up and love on you everyday. Since they are not allowed in the building where we are staying in, some will be waiting at the door to see you.
One of the first nights we were here Diego and Brittany took us to the beach. It was so beautiful. When we got there we walked down to the beach already written in the sand was “Jesus loves you”.  Also the first time since being on the journey our teams were able to sit down and just watch the sunset. It was a great time to just soak in the beauty.
I don’t really have much else to say other than this has been a week of love, pouring out and taking in. There is so much love to go around here. Today after the youth group session we were dancing around and playing with the kids. There are a few kids that I have become close with and one of them today while I was swinging her around told me “I love you”. At the time is seemed like just some words, then I came to tell Jamie about it tonight. While telling her I broke down in tears. Once again God is showing his love through others to me. The little girl didn’t know the impact of those simple words, but when she said them they were whispered so clear in my ear. God’s love is pouring down, it is breaking down walls…it is building me back up.  It’s all around us everyday…

I’ll we have to do is listen.
