So this
is a picture of a painting that I drew, and most of you might know that I like
to draw trees a lot. But there is something about this tree that is different.
It is not like any of the other trees that I have done.
After
painting I stepped back and just looked at it. Something that I do now after I
draw something or paint and this is where my heart went…
When
you look at this tree, if it was the first tree that you have even seen…you
would have no idea what could come out of it. You might just see it as a plain tree. The same can happen when you look at a person or at yourself. You just
see a person. We don’t always see what con come or the potential that is there.
Then the seasons change and the leaves begin to grow. A few
will pop out, then by the end you have a tree full of leaves.
Then
the seasons change and the leaves begin to change colors.
Can you see it?
They shine.
People
stand in awe because of the leaves and their colors. We may not always see it in the beginning but when these things come they are breathtaking. There is potential in all of us. We may not always see it..but it is there.
It is in you.
In
the beginning it all started out as a “plain” tree. And the tree
didn’t just appear, it started as a seed a small seed. It didn’t just grow on
it’s own. It had to be watered and receive the nutrients to help it grow. There was help. It went through seasons while it was growing. Trees are strong, their roots grow deep.
When they reach their full potential it is hard for them to be moved.
