Hope: a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain
thing to happen.
Dreams: a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal.
Fear: to avoid or put off doing something because one is
afraid.
Hope in what is possible.
Dreams of what is to come.
Fear that none of it will come to pass.
Hope that lifts me up.
Dreams that propel me forward.
Fear that tries to hold me back.
Hope that my Dreams can’t be stopped.
Fear that doesn’t have a say anymore.
 
Peace.
Trust.
 
I have tried to think of many ways
to try and put what I have done during this internship into words, but nothing
seems to fit the space. Then those three words above came into my head, and
from them I tried to explain the journey. A journey of trust. Trust that my
hope stands in. Hope where my dreams can come alive. And peace because fear
doesn’t live in this place.
            During
this journey I have learned to stand taller. I have learned to speak clearer. I
have learned to follow better. I have learned more about community. I still have
about a month left of this season. I still have so much more to learn and to
become. I also have $1,600 left to raise to close out my internship. For me to
continue to move forward I am praying to have this paid off by the time my
internship ends on September 15th. Please consider sowing into what
is happening at “A Place for the Heart� and sowing into my dreams that could
carry over into seasons to come.
