Back before the race started I posted
this blog. I was looking back at the page that I had written on and realized I left some things out, and I’m not sure why I did but here they are…
“So watching this little clip after cutting up the songs, it is me expressing how our God is reaching out for us
every minute of the day,
waiting for us to believe. He pours out his indescribable love, not always receiving love back.
Waiting for us to get to the point we know
we can’t do it on our own to break down to him. Knowing that he sees who we really are and knows our heart, when no one is watching us, our bare self.
He changes us once we encounter him. Once we experience
His love for what it is,
there is no turning back, it makes a person not want to leave. Even though I don’t know what is in the

future, I know that he is holding me. I can’t go anywhere without him, every step of the day. Walking in faith that He has hold and I won’t let go. I don’t want to be without Him, and when He is with me I want the river to flow.
“
Then this came later…
“anyone who is thirsty, come and let them drink.”
– John 7:37
come and drink = to believe
“Whoever believes in me, as the scriptures has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” – John 7:38
And whoever believes he will work in us. We don’t even have to try, we will be flowing rivers. He works in us the most when we think we are doing nothing. So true!
“If I wonder if I am being of any use to God, I instantly lose the beauty and the freshness of the touch of the Lord.” – My Utmost for His Highest
When we become conscious of what we are doing we are all in OUR HEAD. We are not acting out of the spirit, we are acting out of ourselves. When we think we are doing nothing, that could be when the spirit is moving the most. Who are we to judge? For only he can satisfy, we can not act upon our own thoughts and what is “normal”. When we walk in faith and not by sight is when He is allowed to use us, because we have given up ourselves. We are going to do great things and we are powerful, because we believe and we allow Him to move in us. Only he can satisfy. He makes all things beautiful just in time. “
…why I left this out before I don’t know.
Silly me.
God has incredible patience with us, with me. He waits on the timing and our hearts. I have been encountering God in new ways since the race, and He is wrecking me, and flipping me. Just because you encounter him once doesn’t mean that it won’t happen again, yes, and I feel no way has been the same as one before. They are becoming more powerful. I love what is happening. The ways he is showing me more of Him, more love.
