When I think back to my life about a year ago, it was finally beginning to cool off in beautiful Missouri, and I was working hard and gearing up for Training Camp in Georgia. My pack was donated, my supplies were purchased, my paperwork was completed, and I was freaking OUT!

A few months before that, I had just gotten my acceptance phone call from Adventures in Missions, telling me I was "IN"–they wanted me to be a part of continuing their World Race mission around the globe, and my placement was with the lovely D-Squad {seriously…you should really get to know all of these wonderful people who have become my family…even if it was a bit relunctantly at first}. It seems like yesterday that I was launching from Fort Lauderdale, Florida with 80 something other crazy people, each of us scared out of our minds, but so excited and thrilled at the same time. It was bittersweet.
has taken on a whole new, very true meaning.
Now I am running full-speed, even on the days when I feel tired and weak, seeing the world with new eyes.
Now I am trusting God more than ever, that He will always provide, and that "He who calls us is FAITHFUL!"*
Now I am preparing for my future with a different vitality and passion than I've ever had before.
Now I am aware that the Nations are not just a small part of my story, but will always be an integral part of my story.
Now I am fully alive. And that took a whole lot of dying to myself, my ambitions, my desires, & my past.

So what's next, some of you may be asking? {I know I am…}
Well, God has put many different strong passions and ideas on my heart for the next chapter of my life.
I've outlined them here, in no particular order, to give you some insight:
1. Working and advocating stateside for The Global Orphan Project in my hometown of Kansas City, MO
5. Move to Antigua, Guatemala and study Spanish, teach English, and work in a local coffee shop
7. Grad school at NYU, Savannah School of Art & Design, or a few other schools within the UK
8. Praying into my place with the Thailand Initiative, an AIM partnership focused on freeing Burmese refugees and putting them in a home specifically for teens while being enveloped in the Thai culture and working in the "Red-Light District"
Regardless of where I end up, I'll be spending some much-needed time at home with family and friends for atleast 6-9 months before volunteering at the next October Training Camp and moving on to what's next. There are certain options that I'm leaning more toward, but I cannot wait to see how it all pans out with God and the community He places me in. I fully trust Him, and know His provisions are good every time.
1. Pray! It's a powerful thing, and I know many of you are prayer warriors. Pray that I'd act on where God truly wants me in this next season, that I'd hear from Him loud and clear, that I wouldn't be afraid to keep taking chances and risks, and that He'd confirm my specific calling in different ways and through so many people.
2. Prayerfully consider financially supporting this next leg of my journey. For #s 2, 3, 6, & 7 I will need financial supporters who want to partner with my ministry by either giving a one-time gift, or wish to give a gift every month for a specific time period. I'd be happy to outline the costs of these endeavors for you if you'd like more specifics.

I love you all so much, and would never have made it this far without you.
Thank you for taking the time to read about and pray into what's next. I really am SO excited!
