The beautiful woodlands & "mountains" of Georgia have opened up a whole new part of my heart and mind as I've been at training camp this week. We've all frozen in 30-40 something degree weather each and every night, and while I am so completely overwhelmed with emotion and fear, it is so evident that the Holy Spirit is very present and very active and He predestined each of us to go on this journey over the next 11 months, beginning in January.

When I say "us", you may wonder who I'm talking about: well, this week, with all of the rigorous training and sessions and seminars and team-building activities, the staff of Adventures in Missions was able to pair us with the very people we'll be traveling the world with, our TEAMS!

I am so blessed and excited to know that God knows that these 5 other women {that's right, I did say that I'm on an all-female team} will be my FAMILY as we go out into God's Kingdom and do amazing things for the Lord while sharing His story with the Nations. These women are so loving and hilarious and love the Lord with their whole hearts, and I'm so excited to get to know them better, on such a deeper level.

We were able to go to dinner last night in Cartersville, a small town outside of Atlanta, and were blessed by some yummy Italian food and great table talk; it's crazy how God is already breaking down walls and creating unity among us, teaching us how to encourage and edify one another constructively.

Stay tuned for many more stories and photos about us, and keep us in your prayers as we part ways for the next 2 months and really prepare to leave our homes, jobs, families, and country for a year. It's a big leap of FAITH, and I couldn't imagine taking it with any other people.

Here's to some straight-up estrogen HAZING.

Love and Peace in Christ,
Suzy
