Here are a few pictures of my favorite people in Malaysia!

These little children are ADORABLE!  On Wednesday evenings in Malaysia, we would walk around on the streets, befriending the homeless, street children, and prostitutes.  This was by far my favorite outreach in Malaysia.  The first week we went out, we met this family.  The little girl I was holding would NOT smile or play with us or have anything to do with us.  So, instantly my goal was to make her smile the next week.  It happened! (with the help of a few balloonssmiley)

Here is the same little girl.  There are six children in this family.  The oldest two girls have already been taken away from their parents by the government.  She is the youngest of the six.

My squadmate Tatum and I playing wth these same girls.

This is "Linda".  She is one of the prostitutes we met as we walked around on Wednesday evenings.  She was always high on glue when we would see her, which is a typical thing, BUT she did sing me Happy Birthday for my birthday this month!

WE ARE NOW IN AFRICA!  Here are some pictures of my time so far!

Our squad spent a few days in Entebbe, Uganda for debrief before we headed to ministry in Rwanda.  It was so great and relaxing.  We had no internet, which was really great!  It gave us all a chance to get to know each other better!

I am LOVING the Rwandan children.  They are definitely my favorite part of Rwanda.  They run up to you, hug you, grab your hand, cling to you, sit on your lap, and dance with you! They LOVE to be around us and I LOVE to be around them.  This month, we are working with a local church in Kigali, Rwanda.  We are helping out with nursery school, preaching at the church, and various other outreaches in the community.  It is an extremely poor community and many of the children cannot go to school because their parents cannot afford it.  Right now, we are trying to figure out a way for these children to be supported through monthly supporters from around the world.

The same little girl from the first photo.  She is my buddy.:)

More children in Rwanda.  Did I mention that they are my favorite part of Rwanda??smiley
