This morning, God really spoke to my heart to do a fundraiser.
What for? For Spain.
Tomorrow we head out to Spain for a different kind of adventure. To this day we have had teams and ministries set up for us. This month (Spain) however we are in charge of our own ministry, discerning who to talk to, where to sleep, when to call it a day and when to keep going.
We’ll be walking the Camino of Santiago from the 25th of May to the 7th of June. That being said what to do with our heavy packs for that time has been a big question in all of our minds. And after lots of prayers, I’ve decided to fundraise money for the Camino.
I’d like to, through you, bless my squad by paying to send some of our things ahead to Burgos, our last town of the Camino. The money would also go toward serving pilgrim breakfasts.
One of my favorite memories of the race so far has been sharing a meal. It’s a place where you can bless people and also have amazing conversations. So, I’d also like to be able to provide breakfast picnic some mornings along the Camino. I have never done the Camino so I don’t know how well it would work, however I do feel like it would be an incredible way to share the gospel and God’s love. Many choose to do the Camino the way Jesus sent his disciples. And I’m feeling called to be there to provide them with love and food.
