One of my squad mates, John, inspired the rest of us to take Jesus to the streets. We did card board testimonies, which means we each wrote something on a piece of card board that was a part of us before Jesus Christ, and on the other side the difference with Jesus Christ. Or at least a big part of our journey. Here was mine…

There were so many different things I could write because my journey with Jesus has been amazing. I chose this because it is something much more fresh in my life. I did a previous blog about it so you could get details there (“Rejected… I don’t thinks So!). We went out around 3 pm because close to where we are is a bus stop tons of students come through. Many stick around and hang out at the mall, go to Mackers (Mc Donald’s), or simply to wait for their bus. We got into some great conversations about life, God, and just about everything else. These students were open and ready to converse about life. They all had different uniforms and were variety of ages and some stopped to talk with us a couple days in a row. We met lots of people and hopefully encouraged all those we talked to. We got varying reactions, some loved what we were doing, some were just curious, others avoided us, some thought we might be homeless, and the cops thought we might be trying to sell something. I may not know if we made any difference but I’m okay with that because I trust God will continue the conversations we started in whatever way each person needs. Please pray that God uses what we began to bring His light into the lives of those we met.

We get on a plane in about 10 hours to head to the Philippines. Farewell Australia, it has been a pleasure, and I hope we meet again. Pray for safe travels, a worthwhile debrief, and health & unity for my team has we embark upon a new nation. Thanks for reading. This was on the way back.. we were so tired they just fell over!
