It doesn’t matter where you are or what you are doing do all to the glory of God! That is much easier said the done. Our team with one other team stayed behind a few days because our ministry wasn’t starting until later in the week.
So, at the YWAM base we cleaned, pulled some weeds, and I mowed the lawn (first time ever) and it was up and down a hill. My legs are sore because of it but I did it for the Lord and that it what counts! We also spent some time on a farm pulling weeds and cleaning out the orchard. It was beautiful and we got to take a hike both days after our work. The picture is from the hike on the big rolling green hills we took from the farm. The other hike was to a waterfall surrounded in trees… so amazing!

It was hard to not get to go out when the rest of the teams did but God provided work to do when we were willing. That is all the time, we can all serve and love others at home, at work, when we play, and when we travel. This year I want to learn how to completely surrender myself to allow God to work through me, everyday, all the time. It won’t be an easy journey but one I am excited to be on.

We spent about 8 hours going south to Fielding today. The whole drive was beautiful and we passed one the places they filmed Mt Doom in the Lord of the Rings movies. We didn’t stop but could see it through the window for a while. Then next to it was a snowy cover mountain. God is such a great artist!

Our tents are up and tomorrow Manfield park (where our tents are pitched) will be filled with youth from all around New Zealand for Soul Survivor. We will be helping out with a bit of everything. It is so cool that we will be tenting besides all the youth. Pray we get opportunities to encourage, inspire, heal, love, and be witnesses of Jesus. We also get to serve and play alongside with our village group, I’m in Village 3.

I am very excited for this next four days! Pray for my team…12:18 for rest, health, safety, and divine appointments this week. Thank you so much.
