One of the first things people seem to notice about me is that I am not shy. I love people and will say hi to almost everyone I encounter. I grew up in Pasadena, CA with 3 older brothers, 3 older sisters, my great mom, a pool, and various animals at different points of time. My dad was also in my life as he only lived a couple miles away. I was raised Catholic and through that I learned a great deal about God, Jesus, and the type of person I wanted to be. It wasn’t until I moved away at age 14 that I truly began to understand what it means to be a follower of Christ, up until then I was simply a believer. This year marks 20 years as a Christ follower and it has been the most amazing journey of life. The cool part is…IT”S NOT OVER!!!
Over the years I have worked with many different groups, mostly Junior High age, traveled on short term trips to serve, been teaching speech communications to college students, making friends and spending time with my family. I like to sing and dance, especially swing dancing, and I recently have been getting into reading more. I love to travel, I don’t like putting on make up much or having to do my hair… thank you Lord that I have straight hair ;). I am extremely relational and therefore can be content easily in many circumstances if I am with people. I like to laugh and can be all business when that is needed. I am pretty logical and practical, sometimes to a fault.
