Wow! I can hardly believe it. As of today, you all have given $7,642!! Which means that I've met the deadline and am officially going on The World Race! That also means that I'm almost 50% of the way to being fully funded. It's unbelievable to me how much you all have given. I am so thankful, and honestly overwhelmed with your generosity and support. This experience has continued to solidify that while I am the one physically participating in The World Race, I'm not the only one going on this journey. I'm not going alone, and I am so thankful for that. Thank you for all of your overwhelming support, and I'm so excited and blessed to have you along on this journey.
Special shout out to John, Meredith, Andrew, and Katie for spending hours helping me at my car wash a couple of weekends ago. These are some fantastic friends, and there's no way I could have done this without them. Thanks to everyone who stopped by as well. With your help, we were able to raise $315 which is amazing! That covered the cost of the travel clinic visit and vaccinations I needed to have before going on The World Race- such a blessing.
Even though I'm past the goal I had to reach in order to go on The World Race, I still have $7,858 left to raise before I'm fully funded. My next deadlines are to have raised-

- $15,500 by December 31, 2013
Please join me in praying that I will be as close as possible to being fully funded before we launch, that would be a huge blessing. That way I would be able to completely focus on serving with the ministries we'll be partnering with, rather than also fundraising at the same time. With that being said…

Car Wash on Saturday, June 29– I could use help washing cars as well as cars that need to be washed. Will post the location as the date gets closer.
Color Run also on Saturday, June 29– The Color Run craze is sweeping the nation, why not experience it and support missions at the same time! A Color Run is currently in the works with the location to be announced shortly as well.

- Laptop– my trusty laptop of five years has finally bit the dust- if anyone has a laptop just sitting around that they'd like to sell or even donate, I would greatly appreciate it. I've been asked to be the Treasurer for my team, and although I can borrow one of my teammates' laptops, having my own computer would make it much easier to not only keep up with finances but also to blog and keep up with everyone back home. Something lightweight that I could carry in my day pack (regular sized backpack) would be great, but I would be so grateful for anything!
