Meet Angela, one of my best friends and dear teammates!
Angela is currently in HUGE need. She just got a call today from AIM headquarters saying that if she does not raise $3,000 by March 21st (in six days), she will be sent home.
Our final deadline was to have all $15,500 of our support in by January 1st , (and she currently only has $10,839) so it is crucial for her to raise this amount within this week or The World Race will have no choice but to send her home. This is not their heart, but they have already extended a two month long grace period.
I’m writing you this to ask you to pray seriously for Angela. We understand the importance of prayer and the power that the prayers of believers have, so I am asking you to seriously pray. We are confident that this money will come in, but we will not be able to do this without your help.
Pray with us that God will provide not only the $3,000 by March 21st, but the entire $4,660 that she needs to be fully funded. Pray that God will touch people’s hearts to give to her and that she will be able to connect with people who want to support her. Please also ask your friends, churches, and prayer groups to pray, and share this with others who may be interested in supporting Angela.

And as you pray, here is a little more about Angela below as well as some pictures to help you get to know her.
Heart-
Angela has the most beautiful heart that welcomes anyone into seeing a glimpse of God’s great love for them. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve seen her take one of our new friends aside in Albania or Romania and spend time with them, showing them how special and how valued they are. That is something the whole world needs to know, and God has made her especially to share that.
Understanding-
Angela loves people where they are at. She does not judge them for where they have been or for mistakes they may have made in their past. She accepts them and shows them by the way she cares for them that they have worth and that nothing they could have ever done could separate them from the love of God.
Perceptive-
Angela notices everything. She takes great delight in how God has hand-crafted the world, and she is thankful for even the smallest of details. When she looks at a person, I am convinced she sees them in the same way that God does. She always sees the potential in others, and believes in them, helping them to believe in themselves.
Fun-
It doesn’t even take a minute of being around Angela to realize that she loves having fun. She’s totally comfortable being herself, and welcomes those around her into embracing who they are as well. She is always up for a good time, and ready to jump into any opportunity full force. Angela is also super selfless, she’ll be the first to give up something she wants in order to prefer someone else.
Courageous-
Angela walks confidently in who she is in God. He has given her a beautiful story and she is brave, unafraid to share her story and quick to speak the truth into others. She is very influential, leading others by her example deeper into a personal relationship with God.
Passionate-
Whatever she does, Angela puts her all into it. She’s super adventurous in the way she lives her life, and she is also adventurous in the way she gives and serves others. Whether she’s teaching English, painting schools, or teaching gym classes. For instance, last week when I walked by the PE class she was teaching, she was right in the middle of her students, demonstrating how to do somersaults and handstands. She meets people where they are, and that goes a long way.
Having had the opportunity to serve with Angela personally, I can guarantee that there is no one who deserves the chance to stay on the Race than her.
Angela is SO dedicated and passionate about serving, building relationships, and showing each person she encounters the love of God in a tangible way, and there are so many more people that need to experience God’s love through her- in the way that only she can show. We are confident that God did not bring her on the race to not finish the entire journey with us.
I would also ask you to prayerfully consider supporting Angela financially, and to act on it. She only has six days left to raise $3,000, and there is no way she will be able to do this without your help. Every little bit helps.

(If you do feel led to give, please let me know by sending me an email at [email protected] with a screen shot of your donation if it is online or a photo of the check if you are giving by mail. Because it takes two weeks for donations to show up in our accounts and she needs this money by March 21st, AIM needs proof that the money is actually coming.)
