*UPDATE!!

I just checked my account again, and now I am at $13,030! I can hardly believe it. That means I am 84% funded, and now I will only need $2,469 to be fully funded. Praise God. Thank you a million times over for your support. It absolutely means the world to me.

September 28, 2013

I just checked my account…and I went from having $10,149 in my account to now having $12,326! That’s $2,177 in just a day (and almost $4,000 in a matter of a few weeks)! I had to do a number of double takes to make sure what I was seeing was really real, but here it is:

Not only does this mean that I am safely past meeting the latest financial deadline and will get to stay on the field, but it means I am $1,326 over what I needed. You have given so much. I am overwhelmed by your love and great generosity… I really don’t know what to say. Thank you. I pray that God gives back to you what you have given to me a hundred-fold.

Now I am only $3,179 away from being fully funded. My next deadline is to have all $15,500 in by December. If you would still be interested in supporting me, your help is still needed. You can give online by visiting https://www.adventures.org/give/donate.asp?giveto=worldrace&desc=For+Susannah+Bretz If you would rather give via mail, make all checks payable to Adventures in Missions,” specify “Susannah Bretz” in the memo line, and mail your donation to “Adventures in Missions” at PO Box 534470 Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. Your donations are tax deductible and every little bit will help.

But for now, please join me in celebrating God’s abundant provision—through you. None of this would be possible with you. Honestly, I am brought to tears because of the great love I feel flooding from each and every one of you. I feel so incredibly supported, from your insanely generous gifts to your passing out cards for me or printing off and mailing support letters to your holding cookouts to help me fundraise. The way you have given and supported me in every way is such a real and incredible picture to me of how much love God has for me- for every one of us. And that’s an awful lot.

I am so blessed to have each and every one of you in my life, blessed beyond measure. Thank you.

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. -Philippians 1:3-6
