I have 5 days left to raise $851 in order to stay on the field. If I do not raise this money by October 1, I will be sent home. If you would like to support me, please visit: https://www.adventures.org/give/donate.asp?giveto=worldrace&desc=For+Susannah+Bretz ?Your donations are tax deductible and every little bit will help.
Thanks to your generosity, I have already been able to raise $1,539 towards this goal in just the past couple of weeks. There is no way I would be here without your help.
I know that God has called me to be on this Race for the entire time- but I cannot do this without your help!
Please partner with me by supporting me financially, through prayer, and helping me spread the word.
One of the pastors we partnered with in Stoberesti, Romania shared about Psalm 121 with the youth of the church.
Often in life we have mountains—obstacles that we face.
When we focus on that mountain, it looks too big- and we feel helpless to do anything to change it.
But when we don’t focus on the mountain, when we look instead to the Creator of the mountain—we see how much majesty he created in heaven and earth.
He is the one who created the entire universe.
What is one mountain compared with all of the heavens and earth?
When we are faced with obstacles or challenges in life, let us focus instead on the One who created the entire universe.
He is far bigger than our mountains. He is our helper. And he is enough.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber;
Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life;
The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
