Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I thought I’d share a few (with commentary, of course) about what’s been going on here in Moldova. Hope you enjoy!
Happy Birthday, Andrei!! A cookout and cake, what a great way to celebrate!
Our shower for the month… I’ll let you draw your own conclusions! 🙂
If you’re asking yourself “is that a ladder in a well?” the answer is YES! We watched (and pretended to help) a plumber climb into a well to install a pump for a washing machine!
Never thought I’d miss power tools on the Race…
We have spent quite a bit of time with the youth playing games like volleyball (top left), soccer (bottom row), basketball and frisbee. We have also done songs (check out Michelle doing the Chicken Dance in the top right!) and Bible stories!
Here we are scraping mud off the street, bucketing it and carrying it to a soils pile so that it could be used for gardening later. We needed to clear it off the street so that we could paint the curbs.
The finished product!
We gathered with members of the church to celebrate the Maundy Thursday!
Andrei took us sightseeing in a nearby town and we made friends with some of the vendors on the street!
I know it’s just a glimpse into what we’ve been doing, but I hope you enjoyed it!
Until next time!
