This squad man. I LOVE leading this squad. They are so full of the Spirit and hungry for God. We’ve only been in South Africa 5 days and I can already see the Lord moving. This month we are partnered with an organization called Impact Africa. For ministry, we go out into different extensions in the squatter camps outside Jo-burg and spread the Word. The amazing thing is that we’re not bringing Kingdom to these people, we’re just pulling back the veil and revealing to them that it’s already here. We’re here to shed light on those dark places. Sometimes it looks like sweeping someone’s walkway, helping someone else with laundry, or even just sitting with a woman and allowing her to paint your nails while you share the Gospel. Watching the young adults on this squad jump right into ministry has been amazing, and getting to do it right alongside them is truly a beautiful thing. They are not afraid to step out in faith, dance like a fool during Jabulani Kids ministry, or get uncomfortable (and extremely sunburnt) for the Lord. Some have even begun to step out and walk in newfound gifts. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for them over these next few months.
