Event day! For our last event here in Serbia, we put on a women’s talk. I helped set up for it and then attended while a squadmate gave the presentation. She spoke on abuse, trauma, harassment, and other trials that women may face. She talks about how Jesus helped her through it and the importance of a good faith community. Afterwards, the girls and I who have been attending the prayer/prophecy meetings opened ourselves up to any of the women who wanted us to pray for them. I had the opportunity to pray for some of the women there and to share images that God gave me for them. The more I learn about my gift and get to share it the more I love it. I remember at Launch when my mentor told me I had it and immediately I shut it down because I was confused and scared I’d mess up or do it wrong (if that’s even possible). Now, 7 months later, God has given me the room to grow and exercise the amazing gifts He’s given me, and I can now share them with the people around me.
