That’s what I thought to myself as I filled out the application to become a World Racer. I learned about the Race in high school when one of my friends older sister went on it.  Ever since then it has been something I have wanted to do, but in all honesty I never thought I actually would.  After my very nerve-wracking phone interview with Adventures in Missions, I closed out the call with a prayer, and I simple stated that if this is God’s will, let it be done.  Two days later I received the phone call telling me I was accepted to be a World Racer!! It is beyond words how excited I am for this journey, as well as for you to follow along with me.  Up until my Teams Training Camp in August, I am going to be sharing little things about preparing for my trip, things I am struggling with physically, spiritually, and emotionally.  The trip itself is 11 months long, but it seems as though the time leading up to it is going to feel even longer.  I have 8 months to prepare for this mission God has called my to, and any financial, emotional, and spiritual support I would be extremely thankful for.  I hope you enjoy following me on my journey and looking into the lives of tribes and nations and spreading the light of Christ around the world!

Sincerely, Feeling Pumped!
