Tonight a few of us got to go out and grab dinner with one of the guys from church. I got to know him better and here a little bit of his story. He is a recently saved believer whose whole world change when he accepted Christ. He told me about how he used o be very sad all the time, not super social or even talkative. Now, he comes to see us at the coffee bar almost every night, he took some of us out to dinner and showed us around the city, and some of us are going to play soccer with him on Sunday. Hearing about how far he’s come in such a short amount of time provides a sense of hope for the people I’m meeting daily and fostering relationships with. I’m excited to continue to get to know him and this opportunity God has presented to help disciple him in his walk. Did I mention we’re getting to play soccer?!
