Hey Guys!
So I’ll just jump right into things. God presented me with an opportunity to do the Appalachian Trail starting this spring (First week of April specifically). Back in July I was wanting to do something outdoors, but that was Christ centered and something I could involve you guys in. Well I sent a few emails out and the right people connected me with even more right people! ( and they know who they are and I appreciate them very much!) So God basically put this right in my lap a long with my boss basically holding my job at REI for me for 5 months until I got back! Big thanks to him as well!
My mission on this trip put plainly into bullitt points is as follows:
- Spread the Gosple to the hungry souls that are on the trail searching for more
- Discover God in the wilderness and learn more of sollitude with Christ
- Finish the trail
It is my understanding that a lot of folks do the trail for the sake of soul searching or to find some deep understanding about themselves or something else like that. What better thing to give them than the love of Christ? I want God to use me as a loving example, just typing that sounds like a lot, but still.
If your wonderring how you can be praying for me in the next few months here’s another list lol:
- God’s will in my life
- Prayer for ample work to support the food budget on the trail
- Daily bread on the trail however that looks
- Open hearts and minds on the trail hungry for the Gosple
- Gentleness balanced with boldness and steadfastness in Christ for evangelizing
