Fully Funded!
Wow, I just wan to go a head and thanks everyone that's helped me along the way. While I want to write about how thankful I am; I just can't help but talk about how much discipline it takes to write blogs on this phone. But seriously I'm amazed at the outpour of love and support. The cool thing about raising this much money is how it almost exercises your faith muscle. What I mean is through fundraising God has opened me up to a whole knew way of thinking when it comes to His provision. He provides according to His will. It's so cool to watch. God has even gone as far as to tell me what I can do without on this trip lol. If I need transportation to carry out my purpose for Him, it will be there. No questions asked. If I need a way to connect with home but not so much that it ways me down with a 30 pound day pack, God will met me know. He has called me to this race and asks that I finish it, so he provided me with donations to carry me all the way through the last five months. I love the thought of God's provision when December comes. I know I want to stay in ministry so I can help in furthering His kingdom, and its almost a matter of how and in what way God will provide for that to happen, instead of if He will or won't. Having this confidence in the Lord makes believing in Him so much more exciting. It allows you to see the more creative side of God. I would almost relate it to taking the blinders off a horse. Your perspective to see God work in your life,and to see how he wants to provide for you, is not only different and so much more broad, but it so much more accepting in the since of how, or through whom, God chooses to provided.
If your a future racer raising funds, let me have the honor of giving you your first bit of constructive feedback. Stop thinking about when God will provide, scripture says that He cares way more about us then the birds and nature (not an exact quote but you get what I'm saying lol) so when He says He's going to do it, He will, according to His purpose for you. No one has more righteous integrity than The Father. I would encourage you instead to start expecting the provision, and if you must wonder about it, think about all the creative ways God can do it.
