Well today was the first day of launch! And even though as a racer we are told to drop all expectations, today was everything I wanted it to be. The worship lead by my own squad mates Jeffery, Meredith, and Justin, was epic and God’s Holy Spirit was engulfing the place. I was brought to tears. Not only because the Spirit was over flowing my cup, but because, and only by God’s grace and love, I made it! After so many years of quitting and not following through with anything I made it! God flows through these squad mates of mine. I sometimes think I am more in tune with The Holy Spirit just by being around these people. Here’s a few of the things that have been written down in my journal.
Shout to the world that God has one!
Shout to the world the deed is done!
Let the masses know where this Love come from!
Yeshua Ha-Mashiach The Lord has come!
Let tongues be set a Flame!
Let knees hit the Earth!
Let righteous Warrior come!
Rejoice in second birth!
That was written a day or two before launch, but during worship the first night I felt lead to right down some more stuff.
“It’s only the first night and the halls of this hotel are filled with the sounds of The Victory in Christ Jesus., The praises of our King. He has given ma victory over my struggles, my battles, my wars! He has taken me from a wretch and turned me into a Levite. I will declare His name and His victory throughout the nations! I thank God for my convictions so so so much!”
So that’s basically what came to mind during worship. Earlier (not sure exactly how early) God showed me some other cool versus.
2 Corinthians 7:4
I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.
This was basically God’s way of giving me a pep-talk, and when times get rough remember that His grace is enough.
2 Corinthians 1:9-10
Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us. On Him we have to set our hope that He will continue to deliver us.
This is obviously a word of straight up victory over death and sin, but not just victory alone. It was also a word of why we go through what we go through and that relying on God is ultimately the best choice in any situation!
Be blessed,
Buff
