Hello all,
This month I am in Nepal and I am doing an Unsung Heroes month. Now what that means is this month instead of having a specific ministry my team and I have been traveling through Nepal looking for potential ministries that would benefit from having a world race team come and partner with them. We have had a lot of meetings and have been introduced to some pretty awesome ministries. Here are two that I would appreciate your prayer for.
Kathmandu Baptist Church Ebenezer
This ministry is led by Pastor Udi and his wife Meena. Their main base of operations is in Kathmandu, Nepal and they led a church there that has given birth to over 20 home fellowships. This man is such a passionate man of God whose main focus above everything is that Jesus would be known. The church has several ministries running out of it such as a widow’s ministry where they have a house for abandoned and in need widows, they have children, youth, and women ministry. They are also focused right now at increase the size of the church building due to the small amount of space they have compared to the over 600 believers they worship with and lead. Please keep them in your prayers.
Nepal Christian Ramghat Church
I was blessed to meet with lead elder of this church and this church is actually the very first church that was started in Nepal. It’s been through some tough times but the church has truly grown into something beautiful. They now have housing facilities for street children to be able to take them in. They have over 40 sister churches that have come from this church. The leader here was such a genuine humble and loving man and he asked for prayer for the leaders in the church to keep pressing into what God has for them and to pray for the construction of a neighbor church they are building.
