I believe I’m done with praying safe prayers. Our God is an awesome and massive God. I’ve seen him move in many of my small ‘safe’ prayers but if I were in God’s shoes I would be offended! Here God sits with the power to move nations and he wants to move them through us! This is my prayer today.
Dear Father,
Move me. I am small not but a vapor but I have faith that you can do all things. I would be absolutely honored if you were to use me in your master plan no matter what part it is, no matter if I get to see the reactions to the actions you call me to do. God pull me closer to you and move me with your Holy Spirit. I love you Father. Amen.
I use to think that this is a scary thing to pray. So many what-ifs could follow this prayer making it not ‘safe’ but I’m no longer afraid of those what-ifs. As long as this prayer is answered and I have the chance to do something for the glory for God I’m going to hop on it because God has bigger plans for our life’s then we could ever imagine. Nothing matters without him. I want to live an extreme life of simply saying yes to God where my little safe prayers mean nothing compared to awesome work God can do through me.
