Our month in Romania has come to end. Casa Shalom and its residents will be sincerely missed (not to mention the trampoline we set up). This month was definitely different for India and Nepal from the food, to the living conditions, to the ministry. However, I learned things here in Romania that will be great to apply when I return home.
The truth is loving and living for God is an all or nothing decision. Living in Nepal and India it’s easy to see how that is true. I heard story after story of people being ostracized from their family and friends because they chose to follow God. They gave up their home, their relationships, their means of support, they gave up literally everything to fallow the Lord. Now as harsh as these conditions sound, I really like the contrast of how black and white fallowing God should be.
Here in Romania and back in America it is really easy to slip into this gray area of confusion, where people sorta want to fallow God and get their foot wet but are too afraid of jumping all the way in.
My goal for life is to always be swimming in the love of God never afraid to show it no matter where I am or who I’m with. I want to be an unbelievable believer like Becky (our contact here in Romania) who is on fire for God even though the community around her is completely contempt knowing the idea of God but have no drive to truly follow him.
So again my goal is to love on God completely undignified and I challenge you to do the same.
Thanks so much for keeping up on my blog and THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED TO THIS TRIP!!! My whole squad made it past the $10,000 mark (Myself included : ) and as a squad we have $40,000 left to raise. I ask for prayer for God to continue to bless us with finances. Thanks again for taking the time to keep up on my blog and pray for safe travels as we make our way into Moldova!
