Here are the basic things you should know about me! I was born in Oklahoma, but have spent the past seven years in Knoxville, Tennessee! As of now, I reside in Ely, Iowa with my mother, father, and my younger sister. I was baptized June 2013 at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and my life has not been the same since!

Now that you know a little bit about where I come from, here are some things you should know about me personally! I’m pursuing a degree in Non-Profit Management and spent the last school year at Johnson University in Tennessee.  I have served with NorthStar Church the past two years, leading a small group of the world’s coolest middle school boys! God truly blessed me with a passion to serve in Children’s ministry. That blessing was confirmed as I spent this past summer as a counselor and staff member at Camp Dixie in North Carolina. It was there that God really spoke to me about leaving the U.S for a period of time, and finding the opportunity to serve all kinds of people, all throughout the world!

Outside of serving at those awesome places, I like to have a lot of fun, no matter where I’m at! I believe the most powerful source of hope, outside of the Gospel and love, is laughter! It is very rare that I would be described as shy or boring by anyone that has spent more than five minutes with me. I’m usually the culprit behind cheesy jokes and completely intentional puns.

Although I do love joking, I take the Gospel, and this mission very seriously. I am determined that God has chosen me for the World Race and I hope that you’ll keep up with my blog, invest in this journey, and be inspired by what God has done, is doing, and will do!  God Bless!
