Have you ever wondered what you wanted to do with your life? Have you ever stayed up thinking what is it that I’m really doing!??
Well I’ve been there and still constantly think about it from time to time. ??
I found the more I feel comfortable NOT KNOWING EVERYTHING, the more I come to know what it is that I’m doing — step by step. ??
If you think you can’t find your purpose or what you’re suppose to do, you should know it is going to come. It says in the bible: “…for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29 (NIV)
Think about that — The Gift that He gave you — you cannot take it back, they are with you for life! Which even if it was deterred or you feel like it left, you can pick up wherever and when ever in your life and ask God to guide you from there.
I found part of that calling when I was 16. I traveled to one of my first mission trips to Virginia and West Virginia with a group. My mentor at the time said I was having all these traveling dreams because that’s what I was meant to do.
Me at 16 thinking I don’t even have enough for train fare to get from the house to the church, lol! ?But to God those things don’t matter. To God what matters is that you say yes when you’re called. Your yes is Holy. Your yes is enough to pave the way.
This picture is of me (I’m at the front-right) in Ghana, Africa in 2013. I turned 22 when we touched down in Africa. I continued after 16 and could not have believed the incredible places that God has taken me.
This year I will be going away for 11 months starting in August for World Race. A mission organization geared to get the gospel out there and be the need. I need to raise a little under $20,000 but I know all things are possible with God. Consider the callings you’ve had on your life and consider the bigger picture you play in other people’s life and in my life. Donate $200, $250, $500 and or Monthly donations so I can reach my goal and I keep going to what God has called me to.
