I am a nerd.  I love budgets, cash envelope systems, and coupons.  My first thought when faced with a $15,500 World Race pricetag was… 

"Okay, that's 10 months away…that means I only have to budget $1,500 a month.  I won't be buying a house or new car in the next month, I can stop my "payments" towards that and reallocate the funds into a WR envelope."  
yes…I used the term "reallocate funds" 

But, I'm learning two realities.  

One, I CANNOT do this alone.  There just aren't enough tour dates in a year to fund a mission trip of this size. 

Two, I SHOULDN'T do this alone.  How often do I rob others of the blessing of blessing me?  I physically and spiritually need the support of others.  Both in prayer and in finances.  As I lay down my pride on the issue of finacially funding this trip, I pray that you will come walk alongside me and see what God is going to do on this journey.  

What Does Support Cover?

Sponsorships raised will cover all cost for the 11-month ministry.  This includes meals, lodging, air, land, and sea travel, administrative costs, set-up costs, coaching costs, debriefing costs, and training camp costs. 


I will also be responsible for medical insurance, vaccinations, travel to training, travel to the start point (in the U.S.), and travel home from a major U.S. city at the end of the race.  For these cost I have set up a separate bank account.  Any Compassion and World Vision, nannying, dog-sitting, and other miscelaneous income will go to cover these cost!
