provided us with transportation from the airport to Venice and once we
arrived, we had a lady come up to us and give us four 72hr water taxi
passes! Tonya and I went running around the town to figure out
transportation to Croatia. We went to the train station to get some
numbers and routes. Then we of course went walking around to look for a
place to eat lunch. We also needed a place to lock up our bags so we
werent having to carry them around all day. We found a great Italian
pizza restaurant and we found an affordable place to keep our bags
overnight. Things were going great!!
(Ask the Lord) around town for a cheap place to stay for the night.
There are hotels everywhere..that charge about 50 euro a night. We ran in and out of many different hotels and hostels. We met
up after an hour and Renee, Jenni and Tonya had found us a hostel to
stay in!! It was an all girls hostel and the owners were Christians.
Renee almost didnt walk in because there was a sign on the door that
said the hostel was full but she really felt God leading her there so
she went in and talked to the owners. After a bit of talking, they
decided to let us stay for a very discounted rate! Praise the Lord!!
Poland and not sleeping the night before, we were all extremely
grateful to have beds to sleep in last night here in Venice!! Our view
from the room was beautiful. This place is absolutely amazing!! Im so
grateful that God allowed Italy to be part of our journey to Croatia!!
He is just so amazing!!
to Split, Croatia. We have not finalized that yet. We are looking at a
few cheaper routes and will hopefully take a train at 9pm tonight and
head to Croatia. We hope to arrive in Split sometime tomorrow if all
works out well.
pray for Gods continued provision, for a safe journey and inexpensive
travel as we want to be good stewards of the support money that was
raised for us. Our budget is extremely low!!
Much love from Venice, Steph
