As this month starts coming to an end, we have been notified that our next month [April] is our ATL [Ask The Lord] month. This means that our entire team prays about where God is leading us to go in the surrounding area, which would mean: Singapore, Laos, Malaysia or Vietnam. After a lot of prayer, we have strongly felt God leading us to Vietnam! So, now it means that the 7 of us need to do our research and start figuring out how we are going to get there [train, bus, or plane] and where exactly God is calling us. It is our job to find a ministry contact or possibly venture out and find a new ministry contact. We are finding it to be a very exciting month! We are looking forward to new adventures and being on our own. We are excited to see where God is calling us specifically. We are currently in the beginning stages of this so we don’t know a whole lot of details as to what our month in Vietnam is going to look like. We’ve found [and have been told before we even left on the race] that we should let go of any and all expectations and that even when things are planned out, they can and probably will fall through at any given time.
Please pray that God will continue to give us wisdom and guidance as to where He wants us to go specifically and who He wants us to reach. This will be our first month in a country without the rest of our squad. I know that God is calling us here for a reason and I am very excited to see how this upcoming month is going to unfold! Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for this new endeavor.
