Rachel
Hartman
(Team Spectacle)

(rachelhartman.theworldrace.org)

I
just love my Rachel! I can’t even begin to explain how much God has completely
transformed her this year and changed her world upside down – even just from
one year ago. It is incredible. She has such an obedient heart and is not
ashamed to be foolish for God. She is always seeking more and absolutely loves
studying the bible and getting fed more and more every chance she gets. It is
incredible!

(She
sings and laughs like my Aunt Cathy)

Natalie
Smith
(Team Tikvah)

(nataliesmith.theworldrace.org)

Day
one of training camp, both Natalie and I climbed up to the third row of bunks
in our freezing cold crammed cabin filled with girls. We were the only two that
climbed all the way to the top. We haven’t talked much since training camp last
October. However, God had other plans. We started hanging out more and more at
each of our debriefs at the end of every month this year (when all of our teams
come together after our ministries ended). We grew to know and love each other
more and more. Such a kind, gentle and sweet spirit she has.

(She reminds me
of my college buddy from SVSU, Jen Miller)

Rebekah
Kraft
(Team Manna)

(rebekahkraft.theworldrace.org)

Bekah
is such a bubbly, cheery girl. She loves to sing and be silly. I think that’s
why we get along so much. I love her laugh. She just has so much joy. Her and
Rachel can get pretty dramatic and crazy at times, and that is when I just love
to jump in and join in the fun! Silly, giddy, wacky and crazy!! We love to also
make cheesy music videos in our hostels, hotels or whatever random place we are
staying in for the night. We like to be crazy and spontaneous together!

(She
reminds me a lot of my best friend Colie and has a beautiful voice like Colie,
but she also reminds me a lot of my best friend from grade school, Janelle!)

Rebecca
Billings
(Team Gentle Warriors)

(rebeccabillings.theworldrace.org)

Billings is a riot! She is so carefree,
laid back and easy going. She is so loving and joyful. She makes me laugh and
keeps me in a light-hearted mood. I can always be myself around her, no matter
what mood I’m in. She loves me for me.

(A
lot of things she does reminds me of my best friend, Amber)

I
just love how God brings special people into my life that have characteristics,
personalities and traits like those that I have left behind at home. God sure
does love to take care of me. He is SO faithful. It is incredible.
It
would be nice to say that we all keep each other sane – but I think it is just
the opposite. Together, the 5 of us make up the most ridiculous and amazing of
friends. It’s like the sisterhood of the travelling pants. It has been such a
blessing, privilege and honor to share in this year of ministry around the
world with my girls. I will forever remember them and forever be thankful that
God blessed me with colliding each of our lives together for this season.
