Two weeks ago-ish I had around $5,500 raised for the race. We have to have $8,500 by June 7th in order to leave on the July race. I had two fundraisers last week (it was crazy busy!). One, which didn’t bring in much BUT did get the word out, which is just as important! and another that helped a whole lot too. Between those two fundraisers, selling more t-shirts (YAY!), another $1,000 random anonymous donations (say what?!!!!) and countless other donations from people who I know and from people who I just have met….
God has managed to bring in over $2,500 for me towards the race. IN JUST 2 WEEKS PEOPLE!!!!!! 2 WEEKS!!!
I don’t even know the exact amount I am at yet because they are still coming in, but I do know I am near if not a tad over $8,000!!!!!!!!!! I can remember trying to raise $2500 for Guatemala last year and thinking that was too much to raise. wow. God amazes me. Well, actually no because I knew He would do it, but in 2 weeks???!!!
What this means:
1. I am for sure 100% going in July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDDDD
2. I have officially reached over the half way mark (such a relief!)
3. I have about $6,000 to go! we can do this. (I’m am so much closer to my total goal of $14,000 and I still have a benefit concert annnd plenty of shirts to sell.)
soooo THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!! for your prayers, donations, support, love, accountability and just showing up to listen to my worries and fears. I really am shocked, blown away, loved and in such AWE of how God has taken my breath away these past couple of weeks. Especially, because I know so many of you all are raising money for your own missions trips too.
He is so beautiful.
