sometimes in life you get the opportunity to meet people that truly live as they are called.  people that when you ask what you can do to help them, all they ask for is prayer.  people who rely so heavily on God that they continue to pursue a dream even when everyone around them tell them it is impossible… 


meet vitalle.


vitalle is our ministry contact for this month.  he is a young guy, full of energy and personality.  he is the kind of guy that knows no stranger and refers to everyone he meets as “my friend.”  most importantly, he is a man after God’s heart.


just a couple of years back, vitalle and his wife moved to cornesti, moldova in order to pursue a vision called Sinai 30.  a vision to plant 30 christian churches in a 50 mile radius in a country that is 90% orthodox… a feat that many people have deemed impossible.  


let me set the stage for you.  moldova is a country located just to the east of romania.  it’s known for many unpopular traits such as being one of the poorest countries and most highly trafficked areas in europe.  the government is corrupt and there is no separation of church and state.  the union, which is the head of all religious affiliations, was set up to support the churches and instead uses its power to take in a certain percentage of the churches’ income without providing any resources in return.  religious persecution exists in this country.  there is no freedom, there is only law, there is only tradition.  needless to say, keeping a church, especially one that is unorthodox, up and running in this place is again… nearly impossible.


and yet the vision remains.  and yet one man remains. 

and yet one God remains.  


the spiritual climate is all but dead.  but i have no doubt that God is working, God is stirring up something big. just like God used tiny, little David to beat the mighty, strong Goliath we are praying for him to use this tiny, never heard off, off the map country of Moldova to start a revolution that shakes this entire world. 


“…with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

vitalle needs your prayers. sinai 30 needs your prayers. this church needs your prayers.  this country needs your prayers.  the impossible needs your prayers.
