We leave San Juan tomorrow at 5AM for a very loooong day of travel. Pray for our sanity and safety. Crossing the border into Haiti from the DR is not easy.
Now the awesome news!!!! Team Transformers will be working with a World Vision partner called Mission of Hope located in Grand Guave. It’s about an hour and half outside of Port-au-Prince and was also devastated by the earthquake. Team Hinds Feet spent the past month there, so we’ll be picking up where they left off. I don’t want to have any expectations going into this so I haven’t read their blogs yet. All I know is we will be doing evangelism, construction, rebuilding shelters and working at the orphanage there that was affected by the disaster, wahooo!
annnnd guess what??? We’re tenting it up literally on the beach!! No electricity, just God, the water and the sunrise. I couldn’t be more excited than this:

It is so different from our experience here and I think that is why. I’ve definitely already been praying for a heart of no anticipation though, but I do feel God is going to move in big ways next month. internets access will be very limited so it might be a bit before I get to post my blogs. Love you guys, miss you all and keep being the Light back home!!!!
Isaiah 61:1,4
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners… They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.”
