I just survived training camp, next step the world.
I can not believe that this plan/ dream is in its last stages of becoming a reality. I have been planning, praying, raising support and now its almost a reality. Crazy.
During training I was blessed with incredible new friendships and a team to live with and do ministry with that I already love.
It is wonderful to step back from situations and see the hand of the Lord. To truly see His love for His children by how He orchestrates our lives. Through this week He has blessed me with 6 other teammates: Alex, Jonathan, Michele, Kirsten, Carrie, and Mary. I am absolutely stoked about this upcoming year with them and feel completely blessed to have them as teammates in this incredible journey that we are about to embark on.
Our team name is Koinania. Which is a greek word that means community in action and was used to describe Jesus’ fellowship with His disciples during His last supper.
I am excited to live out deep community with my teammates as we go out in action to love and serve Jesus.
Before I can leave with my team on June 16th, I need to receive more support. I am currently at $5,225. Which is a blessing but I need to get to $8,500 before I can set off for the world to serve Jesus and love His people with my new incredible team.
