Hello family and friends,
I am sorry for my blogging delay, but here is what has been going down in my life Bucharest, Romania style.

For the past two weeks my team and I have been living under a gracious household called Casa Sholom.  It is a household rooted in the Lord that blesses ministries such as ours with food, housing and love.  It has been a neat experience to be housed by them and come along side with them in their ministries.  My team and I are also blessed to be here with two other O Squad teams, which has been a lot of fun.
This past week the girls on our squad have been rotating going to a home for women with disabilities: educationally or physically, or are at risk women a house called Jubilee.  Although the trips are emotionally draining it is amazes me how quickly I can love someone.  Even without speaking their language or really communicating in any real way besides with touch or UNO(they love uno) and to see how quickly the Lord works in opening up my heart to love His children.
Our time spent with them is a mixture of things.  We hang out with the girls trying to communicate through broken English or Romanian, let them do our hair, play uno, color or make bracelets.  After our time spent with them we are all quite drained and a bit tired but it is amazing to see how we love them because the Lord loves them first.

I am not sure what our ministry will look like next week but it will probably include some time at Jubilee and time back here at Casa Sholom.

I love you all very much and think of you often.
More updates to come with pictures (hopefully I can figure that out 🙂 )
