So here are some things that I have recently learned about myself:
- i love the state of kansas and am increasingly becoming more sentimental about it. with this said I am not a kansan, i was just lucky enough to go to the wonderful university of kansas.
- i am also experiencing somewhat of an identity crisis. so i was raised in dallas but moved to highlands ranch, co when i was 13 then i spent the last 5 years in lawrence, ks. and now im in austin, tx. i have no idea what to say when people ask me where im from. so for now ill just claim colorado in an attempt to keep it short and that is where my heart is.
- i am a sucker for you’ve got mail and sleepless in seattle whenever the two films come on tv i have to watch them.
- i wish that there was a tv station just for ku basketball games. (ok this is something i have wanted for a while but now truly see the benefit of this now that i am away from the state of ks and in a land governed by another big 12 university)
- i can drink diet coke at any hour of the day, i realize some people think this is weird but i dont like coffee
- i am constantly in a struggle with myself to live in the arms of Christ or my own insecuritites, i am constantly needing to surrender it all to him as i recognize my self conflict.
- i am far worse than i think yet he is far greater than i can imagine.
- i would rather walk with God than anything else.
- i am still a work in process, the Lord continues to refine me and shape who i am in him.
