Hello all. Welcome to my blog. Here is the place where I will share my thoughts, how the Lord is working, the good and the bad, in short everything about my world race experience. I am excited for this new opportunity. Definitely overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect. But genuinely excited and at peace about where the Lord has me.
so who is Stephanie Lynn Webster?
I was born and raised in Dallas, Tx. I was raised by my parents Jimmy and Cathy Webster. People who love the Lord and seek to serve Him. I have one sister Anna Lee, she is five years younger than me.
We moved to Highlands Ranch, CO when I was 13. That move was a gift from the Lord as it bonded my family as we moved away from our comfort zone and family and embarked on a new life/ state. It was wonderful how the Lord used that move to bring my mom and I closer and allowed us to have a true friendship, one that I will always cherish.
I then followed my heart to Lawrence, KS where I fell in love with a mythical creature known as the Jayhawk. That’s right in looking for that right college I found my place at the University of Kansas. Rock Chalk.
I graduated in four wonderful years in 2008. My time there was incredible. Filled with joy, sorrow, peace, pain, grace, truth and love. I met some of the best people ever. Who I will always cherish and hold dear to my heart.
Since my college experience I have been seeking the Lord for who I am, what I should do, and where does the Lord want me?
I still haven’t found the answer to those questions but while I have been in search for the answer the Lord has continually reinstated in my heart my desire to go and serve Him anywhere but especially abroad.
So here I am in preparation mode for the unknown. For a trip of a lifetime. For a chance to see the world, serve the Lord and find out who I am and to understand the plans the Lord has for me. Even though at times I am overwhelmed by this decision I know that the Lord is in control and that he has a plan for me far better than what I can plan for myself. I am excited and overjoyed by this opportunity to go and serve the Lord.
I ask in these times of preparation that yall would pray for me, that I will continually give it all to the Lord seeking him as he prepares my heart, mind and body to go on a pilgrimage around the world.
