I left my heart in Chiang Mai.
I really was not expecting to do so.
Before the race I was excited about Asia.
But I wasn’t expecting anything life changing.
Which is crazy since this is truly a life changing trip.
So of course Asia would hold something in it, that would rock my world.
And it did.
I can not even really pin point it but I love it.
I love the people, the culture is fascinating.
And mainly the Lord truly met me where I was, blessing each ministry I came in contact with.
So its true the race continues on, for me in Central America.
Which I am sure I will love.
But for now my heart is in bar street,
the tattoo shop, in the light house.
As I seek the Lord for my next step I ask that Asia, mainly Thailand, will be apart of that plan.
That one day, maybe sooner than later,
He will send me back to the land of pad thai,
fruit smoothies, 7 eleven, and a people that I love.
Right now though my team and I are in Central America until May.
Currently, we are in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua. We have an active volcano in our backyard. It is literally smoking. I swear if its not land mines, its volcanoes. 🙂 Its pretty cool, though. Next month we travel to El Salvador and then finish in Guatemala, coming home May 12th.
One quick note:
I am technically fully funded, praise the Lord. But most of that is pledged generously by my dad. Which I am extremely grateful for. However I would love it, if he did not have to finish my needed support. So I ask one last time for support. I ask that you would pray about giving even if it is a one time gift.
Thank you, you are truly a blessing to me.
